Project Overview:
This 900 sq.ft. backyard transformation tackled a challenging sloped lot, converting it into a highly functional and visually layered outdoor space.
Our approach focused on maximizing usability across elevation changes by creating a structured three-tier design. Each level was carefully planned to serve a distinct purpose while maintaining a cohesive flow throughout the landscape.
The upper level features a custom cedar deck, providing a warm and inviting space for relaxation and entertaining. Integrated planting beds introduce greenery and soften the structural elements, enhancing the natural feel of the space.
The second tier transitions into a combination of interlocking stone and gravel, offering a versatile and low-maintenance surface that connects the upper and lower levels seamlessly.
At the lowest level, a durable concrete pad was installed to support garage access, complemented by grapevine integration that adds character and a touch of natural charm.
To complete the project, we incorporated a variety of exterior lighting styles to highlight key features and improve nighttime usability. Pressure-treated fencing with a stained finish frames the space, adding both privacy and a polished final touch.
