Project Overview:
This Mississauga home renovation project transformed the 2,200 sqft space into a modern and functional living area. The main floors were opened up by removing two load-bearing walls and installing LVL, creating an open space in the living and dining rooms. The complete renovation included a new kitchen with custom cabinetry, a brand new Oak staircase, and a completed basement with two large bedrooms, open space kitchen, and three-piece bathroom.
In the kitchen, the stove was relocated, and 40′ modern kitchen cabinets with Quartz countertop and backsplash were manufactured and installed. The kitchen also features custom cabinetry with MDF finish & Quartz countertop & backsplash. Engineer flooring was installed on the main and second floors, and the interior stairs were replaced with new Oak stairs and a custom metal railing.
The second-floor bathroom was updated by replacing the bathtub with a walk-in shower with a bench & niche. New tiles with 45-degree angle cuts for all outside corners were installed, creating a seamless flow in the bathroom. The ensuite primary bathroom features a walk-in shower, custom-built vanity with MDF finish and marble countertops. The shared bathroom was also renovated with custom-built vanity with an MDF finish and Quartz countertop.
Lastly, the team extended the main entrance and back door and installed new custom doors. The understairs closet was transformed into a powder room with a custom-built vanity (MDF finish & Quartz countertop).
